Interest
Gage:
Every week I go up to my grandmothers to have lunch with her, a few of my aunts and cousins. I see my cousin Gage most often. He has been a major factor in my decison to work with children and young adults. Until he was born I had little patience with children but after seeing the outcome of somethings I taught him I felt I had accomplished something. If I did not have patience with him he may not want me to help him learn. As seen in the picture I read him books. He has now memorized the book, NO, DAVID and often reads it to me!
Fishing:
The picture shown here is one I took when I went on a fishing trip with my step father and his father. We went up to Indian Pond in Greenville, Maine. I caught the biggest fish of the day and my learned how to fly fish. I love being outdoors and try to make time for fishing throughout my busy schedule in the summer.
Outdoor activities:
I enjoy being outside and doing activities such as snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and running. My friend Ashlee Brooks and I go for 3-5 mile walk in trails through the woods during the summer. We both love being outdoors and sometimes go on rides to enjoy the scenery.
Knitting:
Knitting is a big interest of mine. I often knit with my best friend Ashlee who I taught to knit in the fall of 2008. This activity is a stress releaver for me and I try to take 15 minutes out of every day to sit down, knit and relax.
Shown in the these pictures are a few of the project I have completed in all the years I have been knitting

Field Hockey:
I have been playing field hockey since I was 10 years old. When I came to college I was unsure if I wanted to continue to play but I am glad that I decided to stick with it. Field Hockey has introduced me to many people from different areas and has been a stressed reliever for me in college. I was just named captain for the 09 season and I am optimistic about the upcoming season.
My coach Cynthia Pratt has taught me to never give up on my dreams and that even though I will make mistakes in my life it is how I react to those mistakes and what I learn from them is what is important.
