About Me

Home

I was born on August 1, 1987 in Portland, Maine. Over the years I have lived in Portland, Nanuet, New York and I currently reside in Scarborough, Maine with my parents Anne and Dave, my two younger siblings Sarah and Myles and two pets, Toby (a beagle) and Ri-Ra (a guinea pig). My family is very important to me and it is very hard for me to be away from them when I am at school. I love going home because it is like I never left.

The picture to the right is from November 2008 as a local Christmas Tree Lighting that my family and I attended. From left to right: Sarah, my Mom, Myles and myself.

My little brother Myles is one of my best friends. We have always been close, but it has not been until recently that our bond has strengthened. He always keeps me laughing, sometimes a little too much and always finds ways to put a smile on my face. I love him dearly and I do not know what I would do without him.

The picture to the left is one of my favorites of Myles and I. We had the opprotunity to visit where our Dad works and to attend a pie tasting competition (the employees made the pies and local celebrities and business owners came to judge the pies).

It is hard to find the right words to describe my Dad. He's goofy, hilarious and quite a prankster. We have had our differences over the years, but in the end, he has always been there. We've had some pretty interesting moments together, most of which include concerts that we have attended. He's always there for me, espeically when it comes to technology problems (mostly with my laptop, phone and Ipod).

The picture to the right shows how silly he can be. At the end of a family trip to Suglarloaf, I was trying to get a picture of some of the mountains, and he decided to jump in the shot.

Once in a long while, a person comes around that changes your life for the better. For me, that person is my best friend Megan. We met in the strangest of places, at an accepted students day for the University of Maine at Farmington. Ever since then we've been joined at the hip and when she transferred after our first year, It felt like something was missing in my life.

The picture on the right shows the silly side of Megan. During a summer program before our first year, she decided to hide inside the closet. As roommates for the program, we always needed a good laugh, and this moment provided us with memories to last a lifetime.
