Three Day Simulation of a Disability
This is a reflection of my three days in a wheel chair. It talkes about the dificulties I delt with trying to get around my dorm room and around the college campus. This was a helpful experience for me because it made me see a different perspective which I had never had the oppurtunity to do before.

Adaptive Device
I constructed an adaptive device for someone with dentures to use to assist in cleaning them. When I was thinking of this device I had my Grandmother in mind. She uses dentures in her everyday life and I wanted to make something which she could use.

My Career
This paper was a reflection of my my past experiences, my background and my future career in the helping field. This paper made me reflect on what i had done in the past to help guide me in my prosessional future.

My-Self as a Helper 1
This essays is a reflection of how I personally View myself as a helper. The eassy looks into my beliefs as a helper and the theory in which I follow. This were helpful to write because they made me think about what I truely believe and how I would act as a helper.

Self Assesment
In this paper I looked into myself as a person and how my beliefs may have an effect on myself as a helper. This was am important paper to do because it allowed me to look deeper into myself and the views in which I hold in my eveyday life.

Reaction to Counceling Experience
This paper was a reaction to a video I made on a counceling experience. For the video I held a counceling session with a volunteer about a made up problem. This experience allowed me to try out my skills which I had been learning in class and then view myself in action. This allowed me to see how i reacted to the person I was talking to and assess how I may be able to improve my skills.

Career Path Interview
For this essay I interviewed a person who works in the helping field. this was a good experience becasue it allowed me to look into other careers and see what a person does when they work in the spacific career. I was able to interview a family friend and was able to get to know her better through this experience. She told me stories about college and shared information about her past and surrent jobs.

I am Sam
This paper is a reflection on the movie I am Sam. In this essay I shared my thoughts on the movie.

Research Paper
This paper was done in a writing in the rehabilitation field course. We took the time to take steps in writing a research paper. This was helpful in learning about the process of writing a research paper.

Presentation
This is a worksheet that I made and handed out to a class. I made this wroksheet for the class to go along with my presentation i was going on the subject of ending an internship.

Reflection:

Through writing each of these essays I have learnt many skills. These writing skills which I have gained though the essays and reflections I wrote in my courses are skills which i can use in my everyday life as well as in my future job experiences. I think that I also learned alot about myself and my theories as a helper through these writing experiences.
