UMF WebQuest
This
unit was designed as part of my work at UMF. This demonstrates my
skills in the Elementary Education program through this Maine Standard
for Initial Teacher Certification:
STANDARD FIVE
Understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies and appropriate technologies.
Rationale
By developing this WebQuest, I was able to incorporate an
abundance of technology into my lesson. Not only were students to
research, but they were also instructed to create a short slideshow.
By using the program to develop the slideshow, having the
students use Google Earth, and designing this lesson into a WebQuest, I
incorporated technology into this lesson.
