School is very important to me and I work hard to get the grades I want. I have done well every semester with my lowest grade being a b-. I didn't do well in high school but now I'm on the deans list and I am proud of myself for what I have accomplished.

Girl's talk is a program where women mentors meet with their mentees once a month. During the month we read a book and then we discuss the book during dinner and activities. My mentee recently told me that she doesn't read the books because she only does the program to see me. It is always good to hear things like that.

MANDT training is about how to de-esculate a client and how to restrain them if your efforts do not work. I think it is good to know this information, but I hope I never am in a situation where I have to use this knowledge.

I think everyone should have this training. I am glad I got it, but I would still like more training before I actually had to do it. It is a scary thought thinking that I would be put into a life or death situation and have to keep someone alive. I don't know if enough training would ever get me ready for that.
