This assignment was extremely hard for me to finish. I never realized how hard it is to get around using a wheelchair. People who can walk around without a problem don't notice the steep inclines or the cracks in the ground, but I do see now that the world is not always accessible.

Figuring out what theories I agreed with and how it would work in my career as a helper was interesting. I enjoyed reading about the theories and understanding how theories work with people.

I enjoyed writing the intakes because I was able to learn how to write something that I will need to do in the future. I also was able to practice my interviewing skills.

This assignment was useful and I think it is important to find resources in the area that you are working. I found new places that I did not know of beforehand. It emphasizes the necessary role of networking.

Making an adaptive device was hard. Because I couldn't think of anything to do. I decided to do something that would work help my back. I have had a bad back for a while and figured that the portable heat could help many people. Click above to find out how to make your own.

I decided to do my paper on the trait openness and Martin Luther King Jr. It was intersting to consider the traits of MLK and see if those traits were the reason he was able to create change. (Still in Progress)

This was written in my adulthood and aging class. It was really interesting to write about a specific, but fictional person. I enjoyed trying to figure out Dr. House in this paper and to see if any of the attachment styles applied to him.
