Shopping:
For me, shopping is one of my most favorite things to do. I find shopping is very therapeutic and a great way to let all my stress go away. Sometimes, shopping for me can be a whole day of looking around, maybe not even buying one item. It’s a great way to get out, and be out in the public.

Knitting:
This past fall of 2008, I just recently got hooked on knitting. My best friend Alyssa taught me and I can’t get enough of it. The first thing that I knitted was a pair of wool socks. After knitting my first pair, everything took off from there. Now, I’m working on a scarf, more dish clothes, a baby blanket, and hopefully soon a baby hat for my niece. I can’t wait to continue learning new patterns for more knitting projects.

Hunting/Fishing:
|Since I was a young girl, I always enjoyed outdoor activities. It was probably because my father always referred to me as his “little boy.” Just recently last year my dad taught me how to shoot the rifle for the first time. It was very exciting, but very nerve wrecking at the same time. Hunting is a great way for me to get outside in the cool brisk fall weather and enjoy the Maine scenery that fall brings to us. When springtime rolls around, I sometimes find myself fishing. I believe I first started fishing when I was 5-years-old. These are all activities that my whole dad’s side of the family participates in, so therefore it’s a family thing to do sports like this.

Brooke:
Over a year and a half ago, I was blessed with a beautiful niece born on August 22, 2007. Having her born on this day has a special meaning. On August 21, 2005 a friend, athlete, and amazing female got killed in a car accident going to work at a summer job. I just felt as though my niece and I share something special together. Brooke is my world, and I can’t wait to support her in everything she does, and always be there for her in tough times. Brooke’s personality and everything about her reminds me of myself when I was her age, and it only makes me smile when I get to see that beautiful face of hers.

Snowmobiling:
Since my eight grade year, I've had the winter enjoyment of snowmobiling. I find that riding in the winter is very therapeutic and relaxing to me. This past year, my boyfriend bought a new snowmobile so we could snowmobile together. Snowmobiling is very important to me, and this is why I chose to put snowmobiling as one of my interests.
