Currently, I’m a junior here at the University of Maine at Farmington. My major is Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services and a concentration in Addiction. My expected graduation date is May 15, 2010. Since I’ve attended school here at Farmington, my education has been enhanced in every way possible. I show more pride in the person I am today, then ever before. My attitude, compassion, beliefs, morals, and work ethics reflect the inner-most qualities I possess. I feel as though everything in life happens for a reason. I have felt strongly about this belief since I was a young child and the experiences that I’ve endured throughout my childhood, adolescent years, and my early years of adulthood. As for myself, I feel life is one precious gift that everyone is given. From this precious gift, people have the opportunities to endure a life someone has dreamed of doing. I feel as though this gift of life for me has been one that has been compiled with joy, happiness, sadness, bumpy roads, and of course love. There is no such thing as the terms, “wrong,” “right,” or “normal” in my life, it’s what a human chooses to do and live life the way they want to live it. Respecting people for who they are and what they do is what I see as a very important aspect in life. Giving respect and showing respect is the uttermost important manner that I live by. As for my future, I know I’ll give the most effort forth to achieve everything I want to do, and while I achieve the most important things that I want in life, it’ll be the pride and self-confidence I possess as an individual that’ll get me through life.
