Task
There
are three units to your task that must be completed for you to be
successful:
1. Research
You will need to
use several sources to research such things as major events of the
Great Depression, influential people, pop culture, attitudes,
geography, your occupation, living situation, family etc., and infuse
them into your life as your fictional character.
2. Journal
Your journal will
need to be 5-7 typed and double spaced pages in length to give your
readers a good idea of
what life was like during the Great Depression. It must be in first
person!
3. Pitch
Upon
completion of your journal, you
must present it to your editor and a panel of book reviewers in a 5-7
minute presentation. They will
decide whether or not your journal is bestseller material.
