Comprehensive Program Design
The
comprehensive program design is something I will always remember. All
61 pages of it! Although this project was intense, it is something
that I am most proud of from all the works that I have accomplished during
my career at the University of Maine at Farmington. I feel that the
skills I acquired from creating this document; working in a group,
developing administrative skills, producing a program and an agenda for how
that program will run; are transferable in any career path that I end up
pursuing.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
This research paper helped me better understand
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and the characteristics, stigma, and services
surrounding this disability.
Grant Proposals (NCRE research grant)
Writing proposals is a great skill to have. This
proposal is responsible for the additional $500 I was awarded to attend the
National Conference for Rehabilitation Educators in Tucson, Arizona.

Eclectic
View on Theoretical Orientation
I wrote this paper while taking an introduction to counseling course. This
paper reflects my theoretical approaches to counseling. I believe that
working with people in any setting is a collaboration between the professional
and the consumer. My approach to counseling is very person-centered.
Rehab Connections Newsletter
This is one of the Rehabilitation Services Program
Newsletters that I assisted in creating.
Rehab
Services Program Brochure
In the Summer of 2004, the
Rehabilitation Services Brochure was the major project for me and other
students. This colorful document gives prospective students an inside look
into the program.
Senior Seminar Video
Reflection
(*requires Windows Media Player
to view*)
This is a video reflection that I made
during my Seminar in Rehabilitation and Human Services. In this course, we
were required to create a 10-12 minute video on a topic of our choice. I
chose Play-Based Occupational Therapy for Children and this reflection explains
why.
