  1. Your Studio head Mr. Major will assign you and 2 other field reporters to a team being sent back to cover the Magna Carta.

  1. In your group you will decide how to divide up the research, I expect each reporter to be an expert in one of these groups

    1. Barons
    2. Peasants
    3. Royalty

  1. As a group look at the sites listed on the company website and start gathering some historical background knowledge for the Magna Carta time period.  Some things you should know are:
    1. Were there any major Wars recently
    2. Any major deaths
    3. Any major decrees, edicts, or changes in a system of government, religion, or law.

  1. Each of the field reporters must now use the resources I have listed online as well as any credible ones which come up in the course of your research to start gathering knowledge of your social group (Baron, Peasants, Royalty), ask yourself some things about each like:

    1. What problems did they face before the Magna Carta?
    2. How did they live, what was their lifestyle like?
    3. What could they hope to change with the Magna Carta?

  1. Each of you should be writing down the information you find for use later in selling us the idea of using your team’s movie and for use if need be in the field.

  1. Using the knowledge you have gained start planning the logistics of your documentary, write down a game-plan of how this documentary will shape up or how you hope it will.

Alright teams you should be all-set, get yourselves into the field and start filming!  After returning you should edit your film and start planning how you are going to convince us to use this project instead of another team’s.
